mmtwfs.wfs.grid_spacing(data, apertures)[source]

Measure the WFS grid spacing which changes with telescope focus.

Parameters:

dataWFS image (FITS or np.ndarray)
aperturesTable: WFS aperture data to analyze

Returns:

xspacing, yspacingfloat, float: Average grid spacing in X and Y axes
